2017 Cherry Blossom Forecast (Mar.15)

The cherry blossom forecast has been updated by Japan Weather Association on March 15.

Cherry blossom season is almost there!

The chart below shows the estimated opening date and the full bloom date of major cities by Japan Weather Association.

Most areas from Kyushu region to Kanto region will see the flowers by the end of this month. The flowers are expected to reach full bloom within 7 to 10 days. Thus, the first weekend of April is likely to be the best hanami weekend in the western part of Japan.
