2017 Cherry Blossom Forecast (Mar. 29)

Cherry blosoms' development have slowed down!

Due to the relatively cold tempreture in March, it seems the expected full bloom dates of cherry blossoms are now 1 to 2 days later than announced last week by Japan Weather Association.

Although the blossoms have opened in many parts of Japan, it may take a little more time for them to reach full bloom.

The chart below shows the estimated opening date and the full bloom date of major cities by Japan Weather Association as of March 29.
